Growth Acceleration Partners (GAP) has introduced its AI Impact Framework, a system designed to evaluate the concrete business outcomes of artificial intelligence implementations. This framework aims to help organizations differentiate between regular AI-assisted tasks and those that enhance productivity, foster automation, or provide reusable capabilities across various teams.
The AI Impact Framework requires employees to present evidence of AI-enabled work accomplished over the previous six months. This evidence can include production code, custom AI agents, automated testing systems, delivery pipelines, large-scale migrations, internal tools, and reusable systems. Importantly, the assessment excludes any self-reported or hypothetical AI capabilities.
This framework employs a multi-agent evaluation process. An evaluator initially assesses the submitted evidence, followed by an adversarial agent who challenges any unsupported claims and attribution. A referee then reviews both assessments to determine the final score. The results are subsequently validated by human managers and project leaders, with contested assessments undergoing further review if necessary.
Participants are classified into four AI maturity levels, ranging from limited AI integration to the capability to develop and operate AI agents, automated workflows, and reusable systems that have a broader impact on the organization. GAP reported that by July 2026, around 41% of its workforce had attained Level 3, while approximately 48% had reached Level 2.
The company is also utilizing the framework internally to pinpoint capability gaps and create personalized development plans for its employees. GAP asserts that the framework is intended to establish measurable baselines, identify developmental needs, and assist organizations in progressing from basic AI adoption to more autonomous and impactful methods of working.
